Do you ever wonder what life was like during the Civil War? What the soldiers ate? What they did when they weren't battling? I have wondered this many times. We always hear about all the grand Generals like General Lee and General Grant, and president Abraham Lincoln and the presidant of the southern states, Jefferson Davis. What about all those ordinary soldiers that saw the most blood shed and endoured the most losses? I have done weeks of research and have looked at countless journal entrys and photographs, and I think I may have finally seen a realistic picture of how these grand heros lived.
